Photoshop Actions

Postby kipper on Mon Jun 13, 2005 7:24 pm

I've pretty much come into a bit of a habit on how I do things in PS CS. Now I want to create an action to do what I do but I don't want any interaction from me. Now I just recorded an action and did save for web, inserted a postfix. However when I went to reuse this action it was trying to save it as the original filename that I used when I created the action.

Does anybody know how to use the source image's filename and add a postfix to it. Or know of any really good PS CS Action tutorials. I've looked at the ones in the Links section and they're fairly ordinary.

I might take a gander at the PS CS scripting guide.
