CPU Lens info

Postby NewbieD70 on Thu Nov 18, 2004 3:04 pm

Hi everyone, just wondering with the kit lens 18-70, is this a cpu lens or not? I looked for the dots on the inner ring, but due to me not knowing the front of the lens from the back, i couldnt see much

Look forward to adding the link to my recent pics for all to see
Thanks, Trevor

Trevor, the ten or so metal contacts are on the edge of the black ring at the very back of the lens, in roughly the same position as the little distance window

cheers
