Adobe Photoshop CS problem.

Postby W00DY on Tue Aug 31, 2004 10:27 pm

Does anyone use Photoshop CS???

I have downloaded the trial version to see if I want to upgrade and also downloaded the new Camera RAW update (version 2.2).

When I use the browser not all of my NEF files appear in the thumbnails section (or the larger preview section), this makes it hard to decide which image I am looking for.

Does anyone know if there is a fix for this (or does it happen to you also?). The new Camera RAW plugin looks like it could be worth the upgrade do you suggest upgrading?

Cheers,

I don't use CS but I would say that there's a likelihood you're looking at a trial limitation. I can't really say.

Post a message about it in the Adobe community section and see what they say.

I’m using CS & quite happy.

Woody, I would use the medium thumbnail preview the lager only takes up resources & takes longer to cache.
The extra tools & bits & pieces in CS make it worth the upgrade I think 8)
Depends what you wont to do with it, I do a lot of retouching so the new patch tool is used all the time, also the new Shadow/Highlights filter is good.

Well worth the upgrade IMO.

Woody,
I have PS 7 and PSCS , use them for PP almost my NEF taken. I used NC 4 as well and used PSCS to play more with pictures after NC4.
Worth to upgrade but if you have PS7 already, try first.

I don't like Adobe's imposing of limitations... for instance, no more scanning in of money... I'm an artist... bugger them... what if I want to do some mockery of money...
