O/T holiday ownershipi was dragged along to a 90min presentation on a concept called holiday ownership, (company name withheld), last night.
it was all quite a swish presentation, but i am adverse to buying on the spot without knowing anything about this concept. the concept sounds interesting, but i want to know how it works in reality. i just wanted to get some more info and feedback from those who have been exposed to this concept and ppl who are part of it. just PM me. i havent detailed much about it, because i dont want to be seen as advertising for them. thanks tai
Just did a quick search and there seems to be a lot of info on google about it.
http://www.google.com.au/search?q=holid ... S:official I'd tend to avoid things like this though... earn my money the good ol' fashioned way... stealing from the rich.
lol..i think its the other way round...stealing from poor to get rich. hmm the presentation focused on the 'lifestyle' rather then getting rich. and as i understand from the Product Disclosure Statement, thats not there aim.
genji, You're too young to understand about it! I have been down that road, hehehehe! They often rang me: Congratulation! you won a holiday! and blah, blah, blah! you come to our presentation night to receive your prize. Another one is " Holiday share", Time share, yes, it's lifestyle!!!!!! Forget about them, make up your own and have the freedom to look after the ES:Blue P.S: Anyone want to join me :"Lens share"?????????????? Genji,
with all of these schemes, there's a question that seems to remain unanswered. If the scheme is so damn good, why are they not keeping it to themselves, and instead trying to entice others into it? This is a classic case of where something seems to be too good to be true, it usually is. Apart from my normally cynical nature, this one thing where I'd be advising you to run, not walk, away from this. g.

Speaking from experience;
1. Never trust a salesman. 2. Never trust an offer that seems dubious or leaves you with doubt, any doubt. 3. Never trust anyone who offers number two. 4. Never trust a salesman. 5. Trust your and family friends. 6. Never trust anyone selling property in QLD. 7. Do your research BEFORE you sign ANYTHING. 8. If in doubt, seek INDEPENDENT advice (as you are doing) 9. Never trust a salesman. 10. Go with your gut feeling, not the hype. If it feels even slightly doubtful or you are slightly sceptical, avoid it and do some more research on it. I once went along to one of these nights and presentations with a friend (as support), and i was amazed at how the salesman pushed the 'resort' image of the place in question. I hate pushy salesmen, especially ones who get angry and impatient when you ask difficult questions. Steve.

...... sounds like a way of selling the same thing more than once......under a different name, ie timeshare......the only person who will get anything from this are the people selling the concept.....
Cheers ....bp....
