Nikon Capture 4.3

If you are on OS X and havent done already, give NC 4.3 a try. Its NOTICEABLY faster loading and processing NEFs on my G5 here, back to the speed (or better) than 4.1 was.

Windows users, your milage may vary, be curious to hear if you have noticed any performance improvements in the latest rev of this pig of an application?
Smile; it makes people wonder what you have been up to.

Faster, but not fast enough for me :P I'm on a G4 Powerbook - it's of no consequence as I like Photoshop better.

Yeah I was suprised how fast on my G4 dual 1.42Ghz. Not too much RAM either 1 Gig. Was slow on my 15in Powerbook G4 1.3, but that is now sold to fund the lustfilled D2x.

I would have to agree, capture editor is much faster now that its updated. I may actually have to start using it rather than PS CS2.

Side note, i went to the NikonUSA website to DL the updates for both Capture and View, The NV updated fine, but the NC gave me a region error. I went into NC and used the check for updates under the Help Tab and it daownloaded and updated just fine, albeit the DL took 10x longer. Either way, if you have a problem this might work.
