Too bloody slow

Postby phillipb on Tue Nov 23, 2004 3:01 pm

Browsing through Ebay I came across a Sigma 70-300 macro which had a buy now price of $130. He also has a 12-35 for $140 I was seriously thinking of getting the 70-300. As I was reading the blurb, the owner had placed some links to show photos taken with the lens at this website

I was so inspired by those photos, that by the time I got back to ebay it was gone.
Oh well, better luck next time.

Too late, that's gone too. But he still has a set of Manfrotto legs for $240 I think, wouldn't be surprised if that's gone as well.

Re the Sigma 70 - 300 macro

Postby Mouse Trap on Wed Nov 24, 2004 5:49 pm

I have a Sigma 70-300 4 5.6 d DL Macro Super that came in the N65 kit not a bad lens for its price range not sure how it will go with the D70. Still finding things out and testing for $130 a steal. :D
