RSS Feed

If any of you use the RSS feed for this forum, then you may have noticed that it stopped working when the site was moved...

If you change the address for the feed to http://www.dslrusers.net/indexrss.php it will magically start working again...

Leigh needs to do some more work on it, but I think that the address will stay the same... (or he'll let us know if anything changes)...
Cheers, John

Leigh, is there any chance the RSS feed will include more than the last 15 posts?

Many RSS clients seem to have a minimum auto-refresh interval of 30 minutes, and if there are more than 15 posts per 30 minutes (which is not uncommon) this causes gaps in the conversations. It would be even nicer if you could turn your client off for an hour or two and not lose messages, but to do this may require an extremely large buffer (and hurt the refresh time to download the updated feed).

Is there any chance we can have the number of posts in the RSS feed set to 1.5x the expected number of posts/30mins? That would seem like a reasonable safety margin.

Yes, I can change that, and I'll do it as soon as I have the login details for the new server.

There are actually a few diagnostics I have to run anyway.

I'm not too sure about the RSS interval but I'll check it out.
