My new D70S is here!... Obsolete ...

Which generic R/C did you get?
If it's the Jaycar one, I'd fork out the extra 10-20 bucks and buy the real Nikon one... I found that when shooting in the studio, the generic one worked 1 out of 5 or 6 times I pressed it and the real Nikon one worked every time. Then again, a lot of people have had different results. Have fun with your new purchase and I look forward to seeing some of your results! Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au

VK4CP,
I hope you get similar delight from your new piece of kit as I hope to get from mine. Do any of the remote devices offer a quick selection of mirror-up? It invariably earned the response, "Hello little Puck!" Cheers, _______________

The price you paid for your non genuine R/C is nearly the same as the genuine one on this board.
