This can't be real. It looks like he's running some kind of relay race, where the challenge is to run 100 yards with 250 pounds of equipment, take a picture of a flag, then run back and whoever crosses the finish line first wins a trophy.

Either that or this is one of those world's strongest man competitions where they keep adding camera equipment until they collapse. This man apparently specializes in this particular event.

A nice touch to this photo would be one of those water carriers, with the wooden slab that runs across the back of the neck with buckets on either side, as well as balancing a huge telephoto lens on top of his head.

According to the guy who took that picture, this man is for real! Alex Jackson, sport shooter who's quite known around golfing circles. He's still using all film cameras, and does carry that ridiculous amount of bodies while shooting.

This originated in the back of the Peter iNova eBook for the D70. An excellent book it is too.

I think that there is a point where individuals need to be committed for the amount of gear that they lug around. This guy is well past that point. He is insane!!!
