Just want to say hi to everyone, and that I'm impressed with the forum you have here, your tips & hints are being well recieved!
I've recieved my D70 kit on Friday and havn't put it down yet, even managed to get some great shots at a wedding at the weekend. (Wish I had the SB-800!)
Looking forward to the "learning curve" that will last forever! :D

Welcome Paul - I'm sure you'll learn heaps, especially about composition and how everything needs to be in the exact centre of the picture!

Pretty amazing how this little community is expanding.

Paul...welcome. And yes, this forum lives and dies by the golden non rule of "neat and in the middle". A technique of image arrangement for masters. (Zen and the art of photographic composition).

Hey Paul - West Pennant Hills huh? Why, you're just around the corner from fellow member MJ.

Is it hard to type when you don't put down your D70?

Welcome Paul.

Notwithstanding the comments of my learned colleagues above, there will be a high degree of tolerance for images where the subject is not exactly "neat and in the middle", because we embrace diversity.

Welcome Paul

If you need some free image hosting, you can create an account at http://www.pixspot.com (this is available for any users BTW).

For all members:
I am working with Gary to implement this into the forum so that users can access their galleries from within the forum.

Gary:
I have just finished my exam and I will concentrate on working with all the ideas we have discussed. I will contact you via PM later this evening with what I have ready to go.

Cheers

Can we at least wait until it gets into Oz ? :)

Kristine, great; howdjago in the exams? No worries otherwise; I'm down the cellblock tonight; Leigh's playing the lead in Faustus and tonight's the grand opening.

And tomorrow's the grand closing.
