Postby BBJ on Thu Nov 25, 2004 6:00 pm

Hi well after all the questions and specially the naggin, she who must be obeyed has let me do the deed.
Got intouch with Birddog and its all go, all paid, and well i will be a d70 user next week. Cant wait after months of naggin the boss.
Off on a motorcycle trip tomorrow for weekend so that will help take my mind of the D70.
Cheers
John

John,

Congrats.

Actually, the reverse is true. Wherever you're riding, you'll be seeing lots of places and things and thinking "gee, I wish I had my D70 with me ... "

Yep - I remember when I ordered mine - time stood still and the hours just took hours and hours to pass by :D

THEN when you get the D70 you have to wait for the battery to charge! Arrgh. But Birddog thoughtfully enclosed a half kilogram Sydney Morning Herald magazine for me to read, while I was teaching 30 students :D and the two hours passed very quickly indeed.

Have a great weekend, but let me tell you, it won't pass quickly enough. You'll actually look forward to Monday  Perish the thought!

Cheers

Graham

Hi Graham, Yes mate i will be like a kid in a candy store for sure, been walking around the place and they ask me what i want for my birthday, lol they soon learned not to ask as they Know very well what i wanted. Despite the fact that i only just brought my Fuji S7000 only a few months ago, and already clocked up near 4,000 pics with it already.
Thanks
John
