Well after my eviction from the WACA ground on the first day of the season, I decided to take the matter up with the WACA membership secretary. I wrote in and asked for an explanation of their policy and the reasons for banning cameras. I also pointed out that the pics I wanted to take were for my amusement and benefit rather than commercial gain.
A few hours after my email, I got a phone call saying that as long as I was not going to benefit financually it was okay to take a few shots. I asked if I could have that in writing but was told it was not necessary.
So on Sunday I turned up with all my kit, the guy at the gate checked for hidden booza and commented how it was good that we could now take cameras and there was no problem.
I took over 150 images. All crap, I was wondering if they should have left the ban in place, then I had no excuse for feeling this bad
