Another option: which I often use...
- start with your image
- change b/ground colour to BLACK
- Ctrl+C (copy)
- Ctrl+N (new), then enter
- Ctrl+V (paste)
- Ctrl+E (flatten layers)
- Ctrl+C (copy)
- Ctrl+N (new)
- add 20px to both height & width (which will give a 10px border)
[change above step to whatever border width you require]
- make sure "background contents" has
background colour selected
- press enter
- Ctrl+V (paste)
- Ctrl+E (flatten layers)
You should now have a black border around your image.
This usually takes me about 10-15 seconds to do manually...
Using these same steps, you can record your own
PS Action, so this will become a one click process.
Hope this helps....
