Posted: Fri Nov 04, 2005 4:06 pmBah, it's just different backlighting - using LED instead of cold cathodes. No change to the underlying liquid crystal technology of the panel itself.
Next step would be a rival manufacturer incorporating Luxeon LEDs into a monitor...

This is merely an incremental improvement in uniformity of lighting wrapped in marketing spiel and a high pricetag to match.
