Color Control Panel Applet for WinXPI stumbled across this page:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/usin ... ntrol.mspx Apologies if previously posted. Edit: Another useful link with a full description: http://www.earthboundlight.com/phototip ... panel.html The whole site, particularly the phototips archives is worth a browse. Cheers
Thanks Matt. Wonder if this will allow two profiles to be active at once so I can use my calibrated LCD profile on my LCD at the same time as my calibrated CRT profile for my CRT in my dual monitor system
Earthbound light - been there many times. A great site. Peter

I dont think that it will Peter. AFAIK, the only way to do what you are wanting is dual graphics cards, unless using a card that is able to take two sets of calibration data (LUT). Does such a beast exist?
My impressions of the Colour Settings Applet is that it really only provides functions that should have been in the colour management tab of display properties to start with. It's a pity that MS has seen fit to cludge it up with the .NET Framework. Being able to visually compare profiles is nice though, even if that feature is fairly useless. Cheers
Thanks Matt. I feared so.
Are you saying the .NET framework is required (ie this is a .NET app?). Not an issue for me (I develop apps in .NET for my day job si it's also at home), but that's a damn big download to get a tiny control panel applet. Might be the MS way of getting .NET on every machine Peter
