Hmm, I went around Jells Park today and then came home and took some photos at sunset as it was a bit overcast but the sun was extremely strong. Which I find produces lovely pinky/orange colored sunsets. Now when I offloaded them off my camera and viewed them earlier I was bitterly dissapointed. One had a beautiful sunset with a siloheutte of the garden but the black areas had a lot of noise/garbage. When I checked the photo on the camera via the LCD display it appeared fine. Just rebooted into another OS that I use for playing computer games and happened to view the images again. All the lacklustre shots that I thought I had actually come across quite well, and the one with the noise no longer has it. Very strange. Maybe that install of XP needs to be reinstalled. Just something that people should be weary of. If things don't look right, try rebooting or look at them on another PC.

It's Windows.

Sounds like a device driver issue that might have had something wrong with it.

It's Windows, so a reboot will fix 9 out of 10 problems and 1 in 10 problems will cause it to NOT reboot.

Reminds me of an old joke.

Three engineers are driving to an exhibition when their car breaks down.

The Electrical Engineer takes a look under the bonnet and decides the problem is not electrical.

The Mechanical Engineer takes a look under the bonnet and decides that problem is not mechanical.

The Software Engineer takes a long hard look at the car from all angles, front, back and sides, kicks the tyres, wipes a dead bug off the windscreen and finally says, 'Let's close all the Windows and then reopen all the windows. Maybe that will fix it'.
