Flash Arm - an el cheapo one

Hi lovely people

I have
1. D2x
2 70-200 VR
3. SB800
4 Benro KB-0 ballhead with arca swiss plate(attaches to 70-200 foot)
5. RRS D2x L bracket utilizing the arca swiss dovetail

Just wondering if there is a cheaper flas harm than hte RRS version which is US$450 - quite a rip off!

I shot a runway show last night and used bounce flash from the sb800 head rotated 45 degrees to the right, camera facing the subject matter in portrait orientation and got good shots, but as soon as i turned the camera to landscape orientation the flash head was facing 45 degrees right to the subject thus flash bounced off nothing and disapated.
The result was an image with right part illuminated

I figured i need a flash arm so i can get hte flash head 45 degrees tilted up in a static position regardless of whatever orientation the camera is at.

Any veterans here know of a cheap solution that would work with my gear?

I once so a pro photographer using a crappy looking rail for his canon it didn't look as flash as this:

but it did the trick and i neglected to ask him what it was.
