Camera bags

Just wondering if I should invest in a new camera bag. The one I've got I'm finding it's becoming a tad too full for all the stuff I have now. It was quite adequate for the F80 but the bigger body of the D70 and the extra stuff I have to carry around (batteries, charger etc).

Here is what I've currently got:

Kipper - I think the answer is obvious - if you have to question whether or not you need a new bag - then the answer is yes.

Keep in mind future wish list items and what ever bag you choose make sure it is big enough for the wishes. . .

Kipper,
please go back the earlier threads, that what I discussed with you about the bag, and you said you had a bag, but I knew your existing bag won't fit all your very near future gears and lust.
You should look up and into something like the mintrekker 200 AW.
This one can be with you long down the road.

kipper,

I would suggest that you take all your eqipment with you in the present bag and look at a retail store with the greatest range, so you can get a balanced view of what's available. My recommendation to you, would be to get one larger than you think, and also has a AW cover (All Weather) to protect your equipment from rain, but will not be any good in volume of water, like a creek or river. BTW: I have two backpacks, Mini & Photo Trekker AW as I have a back problem, and spreads the weight evenly.

Happy shopping,

Birdy, yep this is one that I've been looking at. Yes I know I did say I didn't need a new bag but that's because the current bag I have is quite a big bag and the F80 fitted in it nicely. So from this I didn't expect to need another. However the D70 feels like it has to be forced into the Off-Road. Actually tell a lie just checked out a website and it was the Nature Trekker AW that I've been admiring.

Kipper,

Check out this dedicated D70 bag site.

I personally am as much of a bag nut as a gadget geek. I have the Crumpler Farmers Double and Next Venue, RoadWired Podzilla, Lowepro Off-Roader and Lowepro Mini Trekker AW. All are great for different purposes. As a general purpose bag for a couple of lenses I would recommend the Crumpler Next Venue.

I just got the Mini Trekker and it fits D70+ 3 lenses + flash + stuff and I can strap the tripod on the back. Works a treat.

Cheers
Dean

Hi , I own Lowepro computrekker. It is similar to mini trekker, but have special place for notebook. I like it a lot.
