Sigma 50 - 500mm

Postby cc@t on Mon Nov 21, 2005 5:12 pm

I am looking at this lens for mostly sport shots - eg kite/windsurfing, motorsport etc, so will always be shooting in fairly good light. Does anyone have any views on this lens or have one secondhand they would like to part with ??
Thanks

Skippy's selling, you're potentially buying = a match made in heaven! :)

It's slow aperturewise, but steady it on a monopod and you've got fair reach and great zoom ratio to work with.

I had this lens and really loved it. Top value item. Produced very sharp images at 500mm.
