panorama factory 4 out

Postby avkomp on Mon Nov 28, 2005 8:46 pm

not sure if this is news to those who use panorama factory, but I noticed that v4 is out.

I tried making a pano of some shots I made on the weekend and wasnt that happy with the output of 3.4 in this case.

I retried it with the v4.0 and it seemed to have done a better job.
seems to be a little smarter than the older version.

I can't say i've tried 3.4, but V4 rocks.. Can't wait until I get my KingPano to do some experimentation.

the version of I had which was 3.4 and it used to do a good job.

you may have noticed the waterfall shots I posted yesterday which were single shots, cropped to pano.

I took a series of vertical format shots with the intention of making a pano of the entire falls.... well the pano I made with the old version didnt quite work correctly, but the job v4.0 did on the same shots is a maked improvement in quality.

dont think the shot works on the falls in this shot though so left it at the single shot cropped.
