Photo Data Banks

Postby TonyH on Sun Dec 04, 2005 5:04 pm

Does anyone have experience with using portable data banks.

Are they any good?

What are the negatives?

Are there any brands to be avoided?

Is the tranfer rate fast enough?

I'm contemplating buying one of these and possibly leaving the laptop at home this Christmas. We're off overseas, if they're any good it may be a weight problem solution.

Thanks for the input....

Tony

Albert,

I think most seem to have an internal battery, but I only know a small amount about these devices

Hi Tony,

there has been numerous discussions the most recent comparing the PD70X and Nexto, see link below.

Search for PSD or PD70X or Nexto ... lots of results,

cheers,
