I met and talked to her before at my first hand on my D100.
I've seen lot of her works same as admiring her skills.
So here you go: ( especially for kipper, Marcotrov, NikonUser)

Well I'm not birdy expert but they look pretty good.
What is the battery issue that was mentioned ?

I noticed this at my first day out with the D200 in Nov. but I didn't pay any notice to it coz it's not my body.

The fully charged EN-EL3e did not handle 1800 shots as Nikon stated.
The maximum shot which most new owner reported was less than 200. will see what happens?

Edit: here's the thread on DPR:

Thanks for that birdy...

Initial reports seem to suggest that the AF is quite good.

I'm still torn between the D200 and D2x though. I might be able to scrape together the funds for the D2x by July next year.

D200 + Nikkor 12-24 + Wimberly Gimbal head

or

D2X

or

Wait for the D3X (....but who knows how long that would take)
