I use Op/Tech straps on almost all my gear. I have the short attachment straps on all of them (these can be joined together and coiled around your wrist, looped through a belt, etc) and have a couple of the neoprene shoulder straps that connect to the attachment straps.
There are a number of options. For attachment straps:
- 3/8" straps - a strap of narrow webbing that attaches in the same way as a normal shoulder strap
- Pro Loop straps - a thinner attachment loop that is very flexible (on many cameras this means you're not fighting to get the strap out of the way when shooting in portrait mode, etc)
I have a mixture of these straps (they use the same connectors to the shoulder straps).
For shoulder straps:
- Classic - a stretchy neoprene strap. Very comfortable around the neck for long periods, but if used over your shoulder can slide off if you're not careful.
- Pro - a wider strap, with one side more "grippy" and the strap curved to mold to the contours of a shoulder better.
By default these straps come with no fancy insignia (other than "Op/Tech USA" on some products) on them. Highly recommended! I bought mine via B&H, although the
Op/Tech site gives you more detail about them.
Don't bother looking at their "E-Z Comfort" or "Fashion" straps: they're not the same thing (although I think the "Fashion 3/8"
is compatible).
