Flash Question?

Hi All, Just curious but i have a external flash from my Yashica outfit a Achiever dz260 i thinks, can i use this on the d70?
I hate having to use a flash, but oneday might need it.
Till i can afford a sb800

It might be worth checking the voltage and polarity of the centre pin - I have an old Achiever unit which had a negative voltage on the centre, only about 8.5V, but negative is apparently a no-no for the D70. I opened this unit up, disconnected the flash-ready wire, and reversed the trigger contact polarity, so now I can use it at up to 1/8000th on the D70, and it still works as a general manual/auto flash on other cams. No TTL of course!
