D70eBook

Postby NewbieD70 on Wed Dec 15, 2004 9:07 pm

Hi all, just thought i`d put a post in regarding an eBook i just bought.

Its called DSLR Nikon D70 by Peter iNova. I think it was birddog who put me onto it as i`m having some "issues" learning how to use my new camera.

Well the dvd is brilliant from my first glance. It is obviously all about the operation of the D70 and how to get the best out of it , along with using programs to enhance photos.

I found a place in Melbourne that posted it out to me , express post took 2 days to reach Perth and cost $84.99. Perhaps its available cheaper somewhere else, but I dont mind if I paid a bit extra.

Anyhow, the site for those interested is

http://www.hipper.com.au/shopdisplaypro ... phy+Ebooks

By the way, its not just for people like me who have no idea, it actually looks very detailed and full of great info.

Stay tuned for some flash snaps...

Take care everyone :D
Thanks, Trevor

Hi

I have both the iNova and the Thom Hogan ebooks and my assement of these books is that the Thom book is basically the D70 manual rewritten in a more understandable way (thanks Glen).

The iNova book (IMO) is the better of the two - more detailed, more fun and has lots of actions for Photoshop that are very usable.

There is also the Ron Reznik ebook (thanks again Glen) which is also very good if you want to know more about histograms etc.
