OPTUS users - "PROBLEMS ACCESSING WWW.DSLRUSERS.NET

Have just spoken to Optus, they already have one email and would ideally like 5 to 10 to help them with tracing the problem.
Emails should be sent to
cablesupport@optusnet.com.au and so we have a consistent easily recognisable subject line put in "problem accessing
http://www.dslrusers.net" Include your optus user name and traces as described in this thread by Gary and Steve.
Thanks in advance

I'll have a check when I get home as I think I managed to get through fine this morning...then again I may have remembered the wrong thing.

Glen,
Done as we spoke and with Optus Business Team.
My connection is with Optus Business not Residential.

Thanh, it's the upstream connection form optus that's at issue, and it's only affecting those who use the .net address.
If you open a command window and do a tracert to each of the sites, you will see the problem.

Yes, done that and spoke to Optus Business Team about the problems at 1300hrs, send an email to them with details of issues/ problems from tracert.

Gordon,
run a trace, as described earlier in the thread. There are other routes that seem to not be Optus that may be affected, but if your ISP uses Optus for their routing, a trrace will tell us, and it will also highlight the problem.

What does a trace tell you?

Everything past my ISP times out (29 time outs). I know they are having problems with their DNS server, but I was able to view other web pages while the trace was (wasnt!) happening.

Yippieee its back
For a minute I thought I was blacklisted here
After 24hrs of not having access I tried d70users and saw that other people were posting...this got me worried until I saw this thread.
Sent optus an email as suggested and viola ...
