Intereting article Birdy, at least his efforts at recording the plight of street people has not gone into the rubbish bin as the State library has collected his images

It is one of the first rules you are taught in media photography ''know your subject'' and ''get as physically close as you can'' it seems he did this and paid the price

Robert Capa, and Damian Para died by getting too close physically
as did those famous volcano photographers (whose names elude me)

The same things and fate to all the war correspondences and photographers who risked and lost their lifes in the past.
