Thanks to Jonathan Dear (jdear) for his help on http://www.decdesigns.com

Simple, just the way I wanted it. Check it out if you like, more added soon to photo and design sections.

Heath

Two points
  1. Went to have a look at the site you were spruiking, but no joy. Seems I have to install a plugin into Firefox (probably flash). Personally I'd say there'll be others who have the same experience. Why not have a lo fi version as well with an appropriate link below the existing bit.
  2. Did you reward Jonathon in a more material way  .

Of course - but he gave me mates rates!

Your flash issue is noted. Not sure what I can do about it though...

No problems here even though I did not have flash plugin installed. I have to say that Firefox has got one of the nicest methods for installing plugins. The whole thing took about 30s, no installation as root, no browser restart...

The site looks good and works well. That is coming from someone who has never been a big fan of all Flash sites.

Cheers

Just put a hyperlink below the flash area that takes the user to a version of the web site that doesn't use flash. Or is the ENTIRE site flash based?

hey!
finally got back on this board after spending a week in hopsital... no i.net connection... yuk! :) (hardly a priority in a stroke / medical ward!)

Heath, you do beautiful work!

#################
Im questioning this problem on other forums as to its root...

stubbsy as a general rule, can you see any flash on websites?

the website is entirely flash based... I havent had others with this problem.

If feedback continues like this ill consider a 'lite' version

Cheers!

Jonathan

Jonathon. Hope you've recovered OK. I've just spent a week in hospital myself (pneumonia).

Re: your question, my main PC is off for repairs (all USB ports were dead!) so I'm using my backup PC which doesn't have flash installed in FF so the answer is I see no flash anywhere. I've just been too lazy to install the plugin since it's my backup PC.
