UV Filter AdviceAhoy hoy,
I need to purchase a UV filter, mainly for protection, to fit my 70-200VR. I am not overly worried about the price, but am keen to keep it under $100. I used a cheap UV filter on my old sigma 70-200 and recently noticed a 'ghosting' effect, even on the images I thought were sharp. I can only put this down to the cheap filter. Is it better to buy nikon filters, kenko or hoya. I take it that multi coated filters are better? Any advice gratefully received! 2x D700, 2x D2h, lenses, speedlights, studio, pelican cases, tripods, monopods, patridges, pear trees etc etc

I have a Hoya HMC filter on my 70-200. Purchased it from Birdy. Works with no problems.

Excellent, I've just placed an order for a Hoya Super 77mm HMC UV, (and a 72mm). Didn't realise Birdy sold filters as well, is there anything he doesnt do?
