Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anybody knows if there are any rules/restrictions about camera gear at the above event?

If it's anything like last year, 200mm or 300mm is a max (I think it's 200mm) and yes they're looking out for TC's... just ask Kipper.

As in looking for TC's on your camera, in your bag, in your pocket ?

When do they check ? Can't you smuggle the TC in and mount it later away from the officials ?

(I have no idea, never attended, but I'm sure you can be a little discrete).

Alpha_7,
As soon as you mounted the TC on, someone will approach you and ask you to put it off.

Fair enough.

Are you allowed to shoot with a dust / water cover on the camera ?

The limit this year is 300mm max.

They busted Kipper's TC 1.7 on his 70-200VR last year.

Don't worry too much; they just asked him to remove it and all was well.

I had no issues using my 80-400VR all weekend.

Guess I'll try my luck with the TC.... there aren't any weird restrictions on the number of lenses you can bring are there?
