I've joined the Sigma bandwagon

Just bought another D70 bundled with the Nikon kit lens + a Sigma 70-300 APO Macro (red ring). It's all less than a year old and at a great bargain too - especially once I sell the kit lens Hopefully it'll be in my hot little hands tomorrow evening.

How decent is the Sigma? (Gary's not allowed to answer this one... I know it'll function better as a doorstop or a new toy for the cat next door ).  I guess I'll test it out over the weekend to see if I like it or not.  I've had a look at some pics on pbase and the bokeh isn't that great
