Found this today, translates to under $60.00 US. Might be interesting to see if it works with a D70, don't see why it shouldnt.

Once it released, it should be nice to have it in your bag, though it will release in Mid 05, at that time we might see other similar products in the market as well.

Ahh...but it's slated to release mid Jan 05, so hopefully in the next 2-3 weeks....we'll see I guess.

The issue with these type devices. as stated in other threads, is that direct devices require the digital camera to be powered while copying and will drain the batteries fairly quickly I'd guess. Whereas devices like the XDrive and the CompactDrive copy the memory cards bypassing the camera. They also usually come with a car cigarette lighter adapter so it can be powered on the go.
