I shoot my shots in RAW for obvious reasons and have been a big fan of bibble products. Namely because it was faster at RAW than PS or NC.

I thought the noise ninja inclusion in bibble 4.6 was impressive.

For 4.7 they incoporated a thing called perfectly clear.

Now here are real result from my camera testing this new feature.

It is very impressive.

I saw this on the bibble site (have never used Bibble by the way) and was interested.

It looks quite good... certainly works for this photo.

I've purchased Bibble pro around version 4.3 or so. It's my primary PP tool now. I use it for raw conversion, wb/curves/exposure/sharpness/noise adjustments, highlight recovery, shadow fill-in, crop, rotate, print etc. That sort of thing. That's pretty much what I do to images. Very rarely I resort to The GIMP for actually editing things in or out or doing fancy stuff.

I love this software, despite occasional stability problems (they tend to add features faster than they can squash bugs) and think it's an absolute steal for what it does. It incorporates PTlens distortion correction, Noise Ninja and now Perfectly Clear, and runs on Linux, Mac (both kinds!) and Windows.

Which brings me to the point

I haven't been able to improve an image with PerfClear yet. They always end up overly vivid and strangely tinted. Gotta sort that out, your tiger certainly indicates that it can and does work.

Had more time to play with it last night.

I find it works best with outdoor shots on normal tint.
Night shots are not improved with the update.

just recently bought 4.6 Pro, love it. I somehow missed that new version announcement, I'll have to check my newsletter subscription.

Like Steffen, now that I have Bibble Pro, I rarely need to go and do any other PP, just adding borders sometimes.

I was checking out the Bibble 4.7 edition and was interested in those who use ACR vs Bibble. What are the differences in conversion process from RAW and is it worth buying Bibble (which for the longest time I thought was a typo) ?

Here are the key diffs between the two version of bibble. I bought the lite edition because the extra features on the pro didnt seem useful for my purpose.

Curves are easier in bibble to apply and it is faster than ACR. Output is virtually the same. Bibble editing is much faster than ACR.

For me, the fact that the Pro gives you the license to run it on multiple platform was a bonus. I mainly use Linux, but am planning a move to Mac OSX for the desktop while still having a Linux notebook when on the road.

The work queues are also a very nice feature.

Well worth giving the 30day trial a go.
