I have been able to talk my sister in law and now my father into buying a D70 (my Brother in law is also interested)

It is great when they get the camera and ring you raving about it, it you just sit there going yep, i know....

Second best thing is they all buy different lenses to go with their camera, so between us all we are getting a nice selection (only one VR though)
