Canon 50mm F1.8

Postby nito on Wed Apr 26, 2006 8:16 pm

My science mentor is turning 50 yrs old this month. The guys in the lab have decided to band together and get him a small present. His wife recently purchased him a canon 30D with a 10-22 mm lens since he is a bit of a canon nut. We also have a 20D in the lab.

Anyway, as a nikon user, I know that the 50mm 1.8 nikkor is exceptional in value and image quality. My question is to the canonofites on the canon 50 mm 1.8.

Is it any good and would you recommend it?

Excellent for the price. :)

A very well spent $150, that can come in very handy.
