Copyrighting Photos

Postby Bretski on Sun Apr 30, 2006 7:02 pm

Dumb question ... but ...

I'm curious about protecting photos ( not that mine are of pro quality yet but ya never know)

Do you have to register or some thing or is it as simple as putting some sort of "Copyright" text onto your pics???

Cheers

You own the copyright as soon as you take the image. It doesn't matter what text you write on it. People just do that to deter others basically.

That's putting it very simply.
