and yeh second place i believe was bloody close ... he submitted late, and tore his way .. over took me for a while.
quite suprised ... its also suprising what people DO like ... some shots i really love didnt get a rating at all,e tc.

nah some sotware for photoshop ... looks OK, but id have preferred the VR

Posted: Mon Jan 03, 2005 4:33 pmcheers y'all ... and to those that asked abou the grad ND ... it was emulated in CS ... didnt have my cokin set at the time, i originally submitted the original aswell as the photoshopped one, but couldnt resubmit on the photoshoped one as voting had already started, it was getting good feedback so i left it be ... just aswell.
ps if ya dont like the photoshopping of it, dont whinge to me, i dont care, its not someting i do much (mainly coz i have a set of cokin gear anyway and prefer to do it at the time.) ... sick to death of "art vs realism" arguments

That's a great example of catching the moment... Did you have many goes with previous waves or was it one of those "one-off" type of shots?
Winning against such good competition must give you a buzz... And deserved too...
