Portfolio for CIT(TAFE)

Hi,

I am planning on applying to do photogrpahy at CIT (canberras version of tafe if you were wondering) starting next year. I was just wondering for those of you who have applied for such places before, do tertiary institutions like to see a specific type of photograhy. Do they like to see a more artistic approach or more plain and simple.


I havent been shooting much recently which has been annoying me, but i am slowly getting back into it. Also most of the first year of the course is using film, should i start using film now and use film images in my portfolio as well?
