Ever since I started nature photography in 1997, the ultimate place to get published amongst wildlife photographers has been The Wilderness Society wildlife calendar.
In the 2002 wildlife calendar I had a shot published of an Albert's Lyrebird and I just received a phone call this afternoon to confirm publishing and payment of a pic for the 2007 calendar of a Spotted -Tiger Quoll. Over 1000 entries were received and I was one of the fortunate 12.
Calendar will be released in Aug/Sep 2006.
Here's the pic:
Many thanks
Michael

Congratulations Michael. I know how much blood sweat and tears go into your work so it's great to see this sort of recognition.

I'm overwhelmed by the well-wishes and congrats.
To be published like this is great but the real reason I take nature pics is to enjoy the experience and meet like-minded people that I can share my passion with.
Thanks again, everyone.
Cheers
