Back to the original question a couple of flash heads and stands 1 OK 2 good 3 better.

a reflector or large sheet of coolite foam.

a couple of white translucent umbrellas.

you can use a histogram as a flash meter but a flash meter is nice.

get a few bits then add to it as you need.

Damn you, Dug! Stay on topic will you?

We're discussing a serious <strike>photographic</strike> <strike>lighting</strike> <strike>studio</strike> Sony product here: The Sony bedwetting alarm.

Hi Dug,

There are general 2 types - flash and continuous light. Which is better?
Are third party brands e.g. Jinbei Studio good enough? If i am shooting potrait of 1 to 2 models will a 300W suffice or do i need 500W or more?

Arthur
