The International Photography Awards 2006 closes 30 June 2006 - they accept digital entries, and have both professional and amateur catagories - Have a browse through, I think that a lot of the photographers here have and do take fantastic photos, that in my opinion are worthy of winning...... well worth considering

Use of Images
Copyright and all other rights remain that of the photographer. Any photograph used by IPA shall carry the photographer's credit line. Use may include publication in any IPA media sponsor publication. All entrants understand that any image submitted to the competition may be used by IPA and the SABMiller group for marketing and promotional purposes directly related to the IPA competition. Request to use an image will be sent out prior to each use for the photographer's approval. The photographer has the right to refuse any use of his/her image, outside of the IPA Website and the IPA Annual Book.

At least, they're not trying to get nice photos for free - unlike the "The Australian" travel photo competition!
