Hi

Am I right in thinking this is a bargain?

I'm sure I've seen f1.2 lenses go for a lot more than £60 in the past.

It might be a fast lens but Bjorn Rorslett only rates it as average. I've seen them go for about the same or less here in OZ. Now if it had been a 58mm 1.2 noct it would have been a different ball-game.

I've got one of these- needs modification to work on the digital camera though, but it was a very useful astronomical lens for aurora photography on the FE2s.

Well there's 1.2's and there's 1.2's. The consensus seems to be that the noct is the only one worth its salt at that aperture. But it costs at least $A2000 on ebay (unless you buy from China, zero feedback, with pictures stolen from previous auction.... :) :) :) ) 50 % cheaper but lens gets lost in transit.
