When a Cruise Ship terimnal is built at the spit Gold Coast ......have a look at this site as most of the photos have been taken in the sea-way or entrance to the Broadwater at Main Beach Gold coast........ it would be a great loss to loose something that does not need a boat to access, this great marine life is on our door step....... this area is also a breeding ground for some of our marine life........... and this is called progress....

Hey my sweet - we've signed the petitions, and gone to some of the meetings and protests - interesting that our 'Environmentally friendly' government is backing this after also giving the go ahead to the Tugun bypass (currently undergoing clearing), the proposed building of a hospital in the Southport region which is home to 2 rare frogs, endangered ecosystem and gliders, and potentially to the construction of an industrial type estate on what remains of the absolutely stunning bush still left standing at Tugun after the 'mental bypass' is finished !!!!! Not to mention the construction of dams in some of our most fertile and productive grazing/farming land when we should be concentrating on recycling water, reduction in water useage, water tanks etc etc etc !!!!!!!!
Oops -sorry .... can get a bit rabid, but I just don't get it !!!!!
Fight the bloody cruise shit terminal (and not that wasn't a typo)
We don't have that much left to fight for !!!!!

I am not afraid to admit to being left of centre, however the decisions made recently by the Beattie government will ensure that they do not get my vote at the next election. However having said that, the rabble of an oposition will not get it either.
