This was as fun and exciting as anything I'd ever done photographically.

somehow i like the idea of not standing too close to my tripod in the midst of an electrical storm! Certainly take out the guess work of knowing when to push the shutter!

id gladly join anyone who purchased one of these babies in the hunt for the ultimate lightning photo! - we get alot of lightning out here in the hot summers coming - rural living.

What a great toy....sure beats hoping that lightining strikes while you have the shutter open....

The price is way over the top & I don’t think it would work on the D70, No electronic shutter release
