RRS L Plates - Any interest in a Sydney group order?

Are there any other new D200 owners in Sydney who will be buying a new ReallyRightStuff L-Plate... I was just about to order one, but then remembered the $50 freight charge for international orders...
Anyone want to join me to put in a group order? I figure we can get about 6 L-Plates in one order without incurring GST...
Let me know in the next couple of days which L-Plate or plate you want, and I'll put in a bulk order and distribute at mini-meets or other method.

depending on the interest in this, we may have to order in 2 or more lots to avoid getting lashed with gst.
Perhaps we get all interested parties in this thread and divide it up into gst safer lots.?? I am happy to be another orderer.

I'd be keen to order a D70 L-plate if it's feasible to order one at the same time, while my home-made one is good I wish I had access to the USB connector at times, which I can't do with my current setup.

OK... With Birdy's order added to the one that I want, we're already up to AUD 761... Room for one more... First in best dressed...
Craig, I can let you have my D70 L-Plate for $160 (Aussie) if you want... It has a couple of very minor nicks & scratches, but they don't affect its function...

Birdy,
BMBD200-L is out of stock (even though it says that it's available on the main page!!!)... Can I suggest that you put that on a different order (with other requirements) so that the others aren't delayed...
If that's alright with Birdy, then there is room for some more on my order... Anyone???

A group order is enough excuse for me to buy one, even though I'll be in the US in 2 weeks. :p
Sign me up for 1 x B20D-L for the EOS-20D without BG-E2 battery grip.

leek - sometimes out of stock on their website, does not mean out of stock. I am pretty sure Stubbsy had the same problem with the 'L' bracket for the D2x. My suggestion is to send a e-mail to 'RRS' on
info@reallyrightstuff.com and ask the question. They can add it to your existing order, or you may want to separate to get with consignmnent/s into Australia without penalty.

Sorry... the B20D-L is reporting as out of stock as well... I've sent them an e-mail to clarify both that one and the Nikon D200 L plate's availability...

Would you believe that this one is reported as Out of Stock as well :-S
I'll wait to see what they say in their reply to my earlier e-mail...

If the spaces are not filled already, I would love a B2-Pro clamp and a B69 plate
If it's all full up, great! Won't have to spend money on things I don't REALLY need

Sorry... but they've been added in...
Just double checking:
US$55 B69: Lens plate for Nikon AF 80-200mm/f2.8D-ED lens with tripod collar (no options for lenses without collar). For the AF-S version of this lens, choose our B86 plate.
US$72 B2-Pro - are you sure you don't want the B2-Pro/L???
Please confirm and I'll place the order tonight...

Yeah, the normal B2-Pro (only going to use the lens plate on it, it is not too long.)

losfp, avkomp & glamy are the lucky people who will be sharing the freight costs with me...

Oh well, worth a try. Appreciate your effort.
Did they give any indication when the B20D-L might be back in stock?

Just received this from RRS...
We are currently experiencing some real problems with our online inventory system. We actually have plenty of BMBD200-L plates. If your online customer account is current, then just email me back and I'll process the order for you. Sorry for the obvious inconvenience.
It's likely that all the other plates that were rejected are also in stock... Can I suggest that someone else places an order for all the ones that didn't make it... My order is already at a high value level...

leek,
You should check with them by email prior to place your order.
As said few times by me and other previously, their ordering system is flawed.

I realise that now... I would have thought that they would have fixed this error by now... It happened to me last time that I ordered something from them last year...

Order has been shipped...
For those interested parties, RRS have advised me that we can track its progress at:
http://www.usps.com/shipping/trackandconfirm.htm
Quoting label number: EV910980491US
It doesn't seem to be registered on the tracking system yet, but may show up soon... Otherwise, I'll let people know when it arrives...

It's a shame I run out of cash even quicker than the shipping
