RIP SB600

Sniff - I think my poor old SB600 finally bought it
Out in the field, shutter click, flash fired 3 - 4 seconds after the shot....
next shot, shutter click, again delayed flash ....
then....
zip
It thinks that it is still working (ie powers up, hit flash and the light goes out as though the flash fired), but 'thinks' doesn't help in the dark
I'll wack it back into a container with dessicant (just in case - like last time), but I think I was lucky to pull it back from the brink when I drowned it in a storm...... I'll put it in for a triple bypass, but not sure if it will survive
But.... Damian said I can order a SB800 from Birdy - the one good thing that has come out of the death of an old friend
