Reading ENERGYPOLICE on post-processing of 'nature' photos.

Individual points-of-view evangelised ... well, some of us are destined to be martyrs to our individual causes.. hehehe...

Damn I can't believe I nearly missed House reading that thread.

I'm sure you're now 'enlightened' to a 'unique' point of view on what should happen after the shutter returns to it's closed position :D

Don't get rid of those Creative Suite installer discs just yet...

Rel,

Only an hour? Search our EnergyPolice as a message author. Prepare to have your standards of nature photography totally revised. :)

Every now and then, a strange one comes along. We have had a few, not too many mercifully, but they are like comets which come along, create their own little world of fuss for a couple of days or weeks, and then head off into the cosmos for another 317 years.

Strange. Some have odd opinions, some want to play mind games, some want to use their apparent anonymity to hide behind and start a slanging match.

Look around, you might see another one any minute. :D

That would have been unforgivable. Don't you have a Toppy?

Cheers
Steffen.

Topfield - it's the brand name for a TV recorder like a vcr. Has a hard disk instead of tapes.

Just had a skim through that. Great reading

What I'd really like to see is an on-screen animation anytime you open Photoshop - the priest from the Exorcist who yells "The power of Christ compels you!" Make him jump all over the window splashing Holy Water on your PS controls, before you commit a sin (should be the 11th commandment) and edit an image

Yes I remember getting involved in that thread and I probably shouldn't revisit it. I've only just stopped hearing the voices that kept whispering to me "kill...kill...kill..."

Shields Up

But if you used a flash in your nature photo then the light would be artifical and the scene recorded by the camera whether or not any post processing was applied would be false

Just trying to sparke a bit of conversation Gary  BTW is it just me or are the Emoticons broken???

Jeez Simon, I used to hear those same words but I found out later it was my wife wishing me goodnight

Love it Simon. Yep, he could test you out that one!

Steve I fixed your emoticon, the second colon was missing for some reason.

Thanks Greg. I found the problem I have just loaded Firefox having finally had enough of IE and had scripts disabled. All fixed now. I had just typed the ':twisted' in to see if it would work

Obviously, Steve, all you needed was a colonic instigation.
