My daughter requires a large number of photos to be printed 4x A2 2xA3
19 x A4 ,

The best quote so far is $320 these are required for her HSC art project .We have been shopping around and at present Hardley Normal has the best quote .
We live in the Sydney area dose any one have a good experience as price is a major factor . The cost to parents of these school projects is nothing more than ridiculous

You tried contacting PhotoKing yet?

RGBDigital are fantastic. You pay $14 for courier delivery, but on a print run of that size their cheap prices should offset this. They can set you up with an FTP account very easily as well.

Make sure to proof your images carefully, especially as most places use different printers for the very large stuff.

Edit: Photoking are a pain and don't list their prices on their website. If you want me to email you their price PDF just ask.

Pixel Perfect is based in Sydney, they seem to have a fair reasonable price setting on their prints, but they're bit fuzzy with proof and image setups, make sure you meet their requirements or else your print can come out differently (in sizes/price). Also, they take their time to do your job, make sure you're not in a hurry when going for them, otherwise they charge you big bucks.

Actually, the photographer's assistant I was on-site with yesterday suggested the same group, Yi-P.

Would Hi Resolution Colour Laser prints do the job?

Cutting and pasting 2xA3 to make an A2 would work out much cheaper. If the quality is acceptable for your daughter.

Thanks all for your input. It so happens Hardly Normal Castle Hill has a 2 for one deal on Thursdays so the deal is done saved over $160 not bad for a few phone calls .I couldn't buy the ink and paper for that.

Look for someone in the forum with large format printers. I can print A1 or smaller on good satin archival paper okay with really good results from a good digital file.
As an example, you order would run at about $150.00 - $160.00 plus freight if there is no need for PP work.

Email or PM me if you have any further questions, but surely there will be someone within reach.
