Rather than post a lot of images this is a link to an album containing a sample of the images we captured on our recent trip. For some reasons though, after having them hosted, the colours look a little washed out to me.

I will add more images later.

I just had a look at your kestral image and made a comment about it looking pale.
Based on washed out comments you made here, I checked the colour profile of the kestral image,
It is argb.
viewed in a web browser the colour looks washed out.
you needed to convert them to srgb for uploading to the web

Nice pics Jon.

The colours look washed out because your images are in adobe rgb which most web browsers do not understand - when you save for web viewing, you should convert your images to sRGB.

Welcome back
A decent series of shots there - I'd be pretty happy with this lot, if I was you. I'm sure it was a great experience.
Cheers

Really enjoying these, and looking forward to more. Do you guys have a map showing where you went?

sheepie, unfortunately no one map will show where we travelled but I will see what I can put together to give you all some idea. We did a huge circle with many detours thrown in

I won't say what I thought when I saw this (it started with F, and was only one word
). Wow!
It sounded a long way when you told us about it b4 leaving, but seeing it on a map is another thing!
Well done on making it back!

That is one big trip. Some great images in there, really classic aussie desert stuff.

It was a big trip Glen but one which I would thoroughly recommend. If you get the opportunity then just do it.
