D80 available in Japan?

Postby anubis on Sat Aug 19, 2006 9:07 am

D80 debuts at Number 9 in the Weekly Top 20 Most popular digital camera (5th most popular DSLR... out of 9 DSLRs in top 20).

Nikon D200 still leads the DSLR pack at Number 4 outselling the Sony A100 despite being twice as expensive.... Pentax also doing very well.

Check it out if your interested:

I'm suprised to the see that the D80 is already being sold.

I wasn't expecting to see that for at least another month.

Or six.

Photokina is in Cologne in late September. I expect in the weeks leading up to that Canon will announce the 400D and at least one other DSLR.

I purchased a Teddy Bear this morning for the sum of $10. I named him Mohammed. This afternoon I sold him on E-Bay for $30. My question is, "Have I made a prophet?"

Which, in terms of Maxwell's acquiring and delivering stock is totally meaningless. :)
